Murphy’s Construction were subcontracted to carry out the Shadowclad, Hydrapanel and Imondi Oak for the new Woolworths Waimakariri Junction Supermarket which opened to the public in November 2023.
The main supermarket is approximately 3600 sqm including the main supermarket, E-store and a designated click and collect area and was built to achieve a 5 star Green Star Certification Rating under NZGBC.
Martin and his team were engaged to complete specialist internal linings and internal finishing works on this project. Works were completed to a very high standard and communication and resources were great from Murphys Construction. As this project had staged handovers of areas a number of deadlines had to be met for client fit out to commence, Murphy’s were very proactive in achieving these deadlines and worked in well with our other sub-contractors to achieve them on time. I would happily work with/recommend Murphys Construction on any future projects as they have a highly skilled team, deliver a quality result and will do what is needed to ensure a successful project outcome.
